Homecoming 1984 Homecoming 1984. dedicated to Dr. trene Kraemer. centered around the theme at the roaring twenties. The week started off with enthusiasm on Banner Day. NastieslHustlers took first place, BiooyaetteslAB. Itch snared second. and DazzlerslGuzzlers won third. Window decorations were few in number, but the BulfletB. DonsIK-Phis, and SquireslTKD won first, second. and third respectively. The picnic and following Olympics received a tremendous response. Winning three out of five events, SquiresiTKD showed their athletic agility. A pep rally loaded with spirit followed the Olympics A bonfire at . the beach capped off Wednesday evening. A new event. designed especially for the theme, the Casino Speak-Easy offered gambling with paper money. SquiresxTKD proved to be the big winners cashing in on those paper dollars. The Friday night dance centest in the PEG roared with twenties music, authentic apparel. and talent. Tracy Hartog tBiooyaettest and Scott Geller iAB. Itchi shimmied their way to tirst place. Immediately atter the dance contest was a dance with the band Caruso sponsored by SAB. All of the week's excitement and cheering proved successful. Carth- age won its first football game of the season with a 24-20 score over North Central. The evening climaxed at the Kenosha Holiday Inn where the band Eclipse played the night away. Dale Beyerst a Buff, was crowned King and Sandy Vanderstoppen. a K-Phi. was reigning Queen. In overall standingsi SquireszKD earned first. BuffsJDtB came in sec- ond, and NastiesfHustlers snatched third place in the weeks events.
