After a tiring day of moving in and getting situated, spirits were lifted by nightfall with a band party by SAB with Americahs Heartbeat as the group performing. Standing room only was the situation as one and all relaxed and Celebrated a new beginning here a t C a r t h a g e College.

Old Timers ac- quainted new students with each other . . . by playing games. It all began with a picnic supper. After that the Garnefest commenced. Activities included volleyball and frisbce contests. charadcs, making human letters, playing with a medicine ball, and a talent show. The talent show consisted of small skits performed by Old Timers and CNS. At the conclu- sion of the talent show. everyone returned to their room to either meet and socialize with floor members or to finish unpacking. D Morris and K. Twohill do a duet. - .
