Old Timers ac- quainted new students with each other . . . by playing games. It all began with a picnic supper. After that the Garnefest commenced. Activities included volleyball and frisbce contests. charadcs, making human letters, playing with a medicine ball, and a talent show. The talent show consisted of small skits performed by Old Timers and CNS. At the conclu- sion of the talent show. everyone returned to their room to either meet and socialize with floor members or to finish unpacking. D Morris and K. Twohill do a duet. - . Convocation Speakers I.I.I.l Upon arrival on campus, students unloaded cars and load- ed rooms. Parents tied up financial areas to make registra- tion go along smoother for their child while students bought supplies for classes or picked up a few items forgotten at home. Opening convocation acquainted new students and parents with the Chapel. Carthagchs President. After a tiring day of moving in and getting situated, spirits were lifted by nightfall with a band party by SAB with Americahs Heartbeat as the group performing.
