Holiday Cheer The Christmas spirit was brought in this year , 1 with lots of snow, cold temperatures, and song. The - -' choirs and bands presented an emotionally stirring ' , perfurrnance in DeCemher. Traditional and i ' familiar songs such as Carol of the Bells were sung along with those not so popular as Thou Gracious and Most Holy Lord. Instrumental music also ad- ded to the spiritually uplifting ceremonies through woodwinds. brass. organs and piano. For a finale, hlights in Siebert Chapel were dimmed. Severai choir members came out from the risers and took lit candles out to the audience. Beginning with the lower levels, the lit candles were passed so that au- dience members could light theirs. After a majority of the audience had Sit their candles, a sing-along was started with songs such as Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Silent Night. A prayer for a safe, warm, and loving hoiiday season concluded the concert. II. L'lr EKY'WE A VERY . F'- Lha! '. u aims Floor holidav cheer. :
