Yes, the senior class of 1948 is gone from the Carthage College campus. Their going is felt deeply by a majority of the student body. For, from among the seniors the students had picked many of their leaders. These senior stu- dents who were the leaders in athletics, student body activities and in scholarship won for themselves a high place in the history of the school. Many of the seniors were veterans who came back from war to finish their educa- tion. This graduation was an especially great thing to them. Their experiences made their whole college life full of a deeper meaning for them. Among the more than iifty seniors who were graduated from Carthage on May 31,
