BOARD OF EDUCATIG The school board has the all important and all too often unnoticed task of basic- ally running the school affairs throughout the district. Financial problems, budget, regulations, policy all rest on the shoulders of our school board, and in spite of the long hours as well as the time spent in their regular occupations these elected offi- cials receive no recompense. We would not be truthful in saying we enjoy all the regulations and restrictions, however we do understand that the board doesnlt al- ways enjoy having to give them. To the school board we say thank you. 6
