EDITOR'S NOTES The traditional responsibility of the Carthadian has been to present the year's notable events and personalities. ln 1969 we have an additional goal: We hope to present the school as an institution with a unique character. This is not done by merely compiling a record of the superficial aspects of Carthage Central. lt can be accomplished only by our exploring the moods of this school - the theme we have chosen. In pictures and with words we have tried to recreate the atmosphere of the school. We have tried to capture the intangible and everchanging moods of our school. lt is these moods that give individuality to this institution. We hope our efforts will leave a more vivid impression for seniors, and even more importantly, will help underclassmen to better understand their school.
