365 CAR THADIAN FOREWORD The thoughtful person asks, What is our school? And the long and varied story begins. No one event or object can effectively character- ize our six years at Carthage Central School. We have seen our story in the halls, at the games, in our classes. It is a serious story. It is a story of dynamic, moving, changing young people, each with his or her own view of the school. We, the editors of the Carzhadian, have tried to capture these viewpoints with our pictures and comments. By looking at our school through the eyes of the seniors, the underclassmen, teachers, administra- tors, and others, we see a focal point emerging. We like to call this point in time and space the Carthage Story.
