Here we see Willard, known to Mr. Schoenfeld as William, and to the world as Bill. As a result of his determination and brain power, Bill has accumulated for himself one of the linest schoolastic records of the yearg it has been principally through his efforts that the tennis team was or anized, while the Cavalier owes much to his Ene editorials. We can truthfully say that through his ability to organize, Bill Christiansen will be remembered to his everlasting credit here, and, we fully expect, at Amherst College. Garteret School RICHARD CHRISTIANSEN lnhabitant of some distant wilderness known as Bound Brook, terror of the nation's high- ways, silent stalker ot the wooded glen, Rich- ard Christiansen is a mighty hunter, deer with rifle, man with Ford Truck. The thought of such horsepower surging beneath a Christian- sen lills Mr. Laity, our psychologist, with a morbid horror, soon sensed by other members of the faculty. To once again win his way to their palpitating hearts, Dick conveniently dis- tributes venison in the right places at Christmas time. On the more serious side, Dick is one of the leading lights of the economics class, a good tennis player, and has done a line job as one of the editors of the Cavalier. Good natured and blessed with a mind capable of thinking, Dick should initiate a successful ca- reer next fall at Yale. 5 . C enlors 1949 III 7I5IiIQ'I' Ii. I . At last, however, Dave seems to have found happiness, forhlean has entered his life. Already plans are heing formulated for the wedding, and we hope the affair will he a joyous one.
