n Vocal Music Department Carter High School Vocal Music Department has had a busy year. Their first work was preparing a Junior High group of thirty singers for an E,T,E,A, Chorus. The Winter Concert followed and served as a dedication ceremony for forty new academic choir robes. Procuring these robes was a big step forward for this department. These robes were purchased with money obtained from Christmas Cards and concerts. At Easter the Senior Choir did a Cantata, From Death Unto Life, by Stults. Carter music students entered three festivals in the spring. Spring Concert, Baccalaureate, and Commencement Music completed the year. National Honor Society The object of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to ren- der service, to promote worthy leadership, and ro encourage the development of character in pupils of Carter High School.
