HOBO PARTY One of the high lights of the Spring term was the Junior-Senior event, the Hobo Party. Above, game director, Price Harrison of the University of Tennessee, explains a game to interested students. Carolyn Jo Smith was runner-up for outstanding Y-Teen ot Knox County. Carolyn Frances Mount, as president-elect of Carter Y-Teen for 1957-1958, attended the Y-Teen camp at Blue Ridge. Becky Smith and Glenda Carter have fun at the .lUI'1i0l' Dinner To win more victories for the 1957 season, the football boys started early practice. ,f 1, lt was to Washington, D. C. for Jack Wayland when he attended the Key Club Convention. Rose Ann Pratt and Mary Anges Burrougls had the privilege of attending the Federal Junior Classical League at Nashville last May. Fun? Work? Both. Members ot the editoral staff had all-day meetings at Miss Tate's home during the summer. As a result Carter was the first school to send material to .bsten's this year. Here we see Miss Lyle, Andrea, Nedra, Charlotte, Barbara, Nancy, Connie and Carolyn about to enjoy a good meal.
