THE EHS BAND was very active this year marching in the Poplar Bluff Dallas Days Parade and Band Festival, and the Ellsinore Labor Day Parade. They performed for their parents and the community at a Christmas Concert, Spring Con- cert, and a special concert to recognize the members who represented EHS in the district and state music contests. Mr. Don McClure, Band Director, has been a guiding force in many past and present band members' lives. Like some other specialty teachers, a band director spends many out- of-school hours working for his students and for the promotion of a school's image. 30
