The evening was spent eating, taking pictures, and renewing old friendships. Everyone had changed practically beyond recognition, but most surprising was the lives the classmates are now leading, such as... Jody Allen is the coach of the famous basketball team the All American Miss-Fits. Her star players are Marilyn Allen and Brenda Caldwell. Their last amazing victory was in Poland. Penny (Ladyman) Allen is now screaming at the top of her lungss, “one wants a cookie, one wants a changing, and one’s on the wayl” Teresa Arenz is now the new taster of Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, and Coors Beer Companies. Teresa says she gives all her money to A.A.A. Johnny Barnes has now successfully graduated from nurse’s training. He is a Registered Nurse at People’s Hospital, Funny City, California. Darlene Boyer is now the Editor of the Playgirl magazine. Robert Brown has opened his own auto body shop. His side kick Mel Branscum is helping him. Paul Carter has been chosen recently as most entertaining star. Yes. a plain ole country boy is now a star. Better known as Duke” he has been awarded for his prize winning fall, off his horse. Pat Collins recently “made his million by posing for the centerfold of “Hairstyle of theMonth.” Rumor has it that Pat is the only subscriber to the magazine. Mary Crites is now a franchised partner in a chain of paper machines. Sharon Dalton is a successful model. She is modeling dresses for Mad Magazine. Jim Daghhettee was last reported to be on safari in Africa. K enny Davis is now a high executive in Ace Packing Co. (He’s the “Box Head” of the corporation). Ann Friedline and Josephine Papayik have introduced a new exercise course, said to be better than Mark Eden. And they’re living proof. Vicki Hamilton is the leader of a new singing group called the “Tweets”. (Sort of “bird brained” too). Pam Hampton is doing fairly well for herself with her new dress store known as “Sew and Save.” Thelma Huddleston, as all may know, has given us the new hair style that’s known world wide. The Contour Look. It’s the “base” of all evening wear. Dave Jarvis has started his own produce compay which specializes in fruits. It is known as “Pug’s Berry Pickers.” Wanda Johnson has now broken the Guiness Book of World Records. She had 46 boyfriends all in one week. She would have had 102 but 56 of them had track in high school. Rhonda Julian is still working in a topless bar. Her only comment was, “It’s a little drafty in the winter.” It seems there is no roof on the building. Rita Kanell is the Dean of Ellsinore University. Linda Kearby always did like big, strong men, but who would have thought she'd every marry Superman! Pat Kelley has now opened her 12th Brownie Shop in Spain. She said that the secret is “in the frosting.” Nola (Condray) Manis, her 2 sets of twins, and Jerry are all trying to start a Jazz band. The name of the group is “Mama’s Helpers.” James Males finally made it to the top of the ladder. His chosen profession was to be a housepainter. Danny McClendon says his prize winning invention was taken from his personality - the 2 watt light bulb. Duane McClendon is married and keepng house while his wife works. Mike McLeod has finally got his head above the ground. For a graduation present he was given a backhoe instead of a shovel. David Miller has just recently found that he is the sole heir of Miller Beer Inc., and he is overjoyed by this fact. He is now the toast of his home town of Ellsinore. Melody Morehead is behind bars now that they made boy chasing illegal. Teresa Murray has left Grandin and is now traveling world wide on tour as a concert pianist. She’s to be featured in St. Louis soon playing her most famous piece, “Chop Sticks.” Brenda Pomeroy is now a personal nurse for Mr. Wallace. It seems he has aged very fast after the class of 77 graduated. Could it be that he missed them or did he finally get a chance to slow down? Rhonda (Phelps) O’Dell and her husband and their children have started a new singing group for children titled “Farmer and the O’Dells.” Peggy Russell used to be an airline stewardess, now she owns her own airline. Kenny Scaggs is traveling all over the world. It seems he has won the Mr. Unusual Personality contest. Greg Shepherd is taking it easy now that he has become a millionaire. Gary Smith has written a great science fiction novel entitled “Mom’s Apple Pie.” It’s about a piece of apple pie that goes mad. Mike Stahl is a member of a private Lonely Hearts Club. It’s been said that he’s the only member. Joe Whalen has just won 1st place in the Minneapolis 500 race with his own car he modeled himself. Jim Wilder has been trying to find new business for his funeral home. He’s got a rock group that “knocks ’em dead. Sally Willcut is is modeling hair styles for “It’s a Birds World. It seems that she is no t ed for her feathered bangs. Brenda (White) Woodard and her husband have equal shares in a garage called Woodard and Woodard. Jim Yates is the leader of a huge motorcycle gang in Chicago. 35 It’s Yesterday Once I wonder who it is??? I have a secret admirer! CHEEZE!!! HEY, HEY. HEY!!! OFF with this dress. NAME. The marching seasons usually starts at the beginning of school till the Christmas Parades. The band this year did great. They have won several trophies and some money. Here are a list of the parades and if they won anything. On September 4, 1976 Doniphan had a Homecoming parade which we won a nice second place plaque. Then we didn’t do too much marching except to get up some floor shows. On December 4, 1976 Van Buren had a Christmas Parade which we won a third place trophy. Then later at 1:30 Emminee at a Christmas Parade which we won third and received $50.00. On December 18, 1976 Winona had a Christmas Parade here we took first and won $50.00. So they in all really had a nice season. But the nice thought is they placed in every parade they were in. That makes us real proud to have a EHS MARCHING BAND Ellsinore High School ABOVE: Concert Band BELOW: Stage Band Band Director: Keith Andrews Band Officers: (Left to Right) Nola Manis Vice President Thelma Huddleston President Carrie Berry Sec.-Treas.
