Thinking of the changes that has taken place since graduation in '52. I pulled into a gas station and who was there to greet me, but Sonny Morlen. Sonny is not yet married, he always was a play-boy. We talked, and I gathered information on my old classmates. Shirley Jameson is a reporter in St. Louis, she’s not married. She never could be satisfied with just one man. Mary Lou is a model in New York. She married a singer on N.B.C. Joe Stevens is operating a fleet of trucks now. He isn’t driving, he owns the outfit. Wayne Tucker is president of the Bank of Ellsinore. He married a girl from Georgia. Josephine Murphy has become a hula-hula dancer in a night club in Van Buren. I learned that Wilma has three lovely children and is the wife of Senator Leonard Colyott. We talked and talked and I was informed that Willie Price finally married Dolores Yates and lived on a chicken ranch close to Mill Springs. Jim Yates has become a professional basketball player and his love for Lola has faded out. Basketball has won his heart. Shag Condray finally decided to marry Etta Mae because he spent all his time with her anyway. They have three sets of twins. Clifton Boyer is owner of a chain of barber shops in Poplar Bluff. Donnie Black is now teaching School Publications at E.H.S. Charles Julian has lost his trim waist line. Too much sea life I guess. Ed Davis is National Champion Rodeo Rider. Glenn Boxx bought a night club and married a fan dancer. Audrey Moss settled down and married Norman Leach. She has six children. She never got to use her brains. Betty Mangnall became a teacher in a rural school. She married a prize fighter. Betty Littrell and Thelma Brown are models in New York. They room together. Pauline Huddleston and Betty Norman are scouting around New York, still looking for their dream men. 14 JLindell Simmons has become a soda-jerk at Elsinore’s new Heavenly Haven Drive-Inn. Having learned all this I decided to go back to my own home and let the other kids live their lives in peace. Edward Sisco Class Will MARY CARNAHAN wills her love for Sonny Morlen to Wanda Morgan.
