MT 225-6312 The senior class is dedicating the 1989 Medicine Rocks Annual to a man who has struck fear in the hearts of every Freshman entering CCHS, and earned the respect and affection of every Senior leaving it's doors, Gary Tuggle’. Mr. Tuggle has been prinipal of the high school for fifteen years, and took over as superintendent this year. He and his wife Jan have resided in Baker for twenty years. They have three children and two grandchildren. Tug has been a great friend and role model for all of us, and we've always known he really cares about us, and all the students at CCHS. Thoucjn we don't know where we're going, We will cherish where we've been. Ihroucfn all the things we've all shared, We knew somehow we'd always win. Sometimes there was laucfnter, And sometimes there were tears, But we bound together, to work it out, And conquered our many fears. I can picture us together, With my arms around my friends. PROPHECY Good evening Ekalaka! We're here on the station that rocks, the station that never stops. We're rockin' in the year two thousand, that's a big 2-0-0-0, and you've got the Mauch talk coming over the line and I feel good! OW! I've got a special treat for all you crazy folks our there--WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE CLASS OF '89? No don't tell! Yes the time has come and we're gonna fly and I mean high, back into the past—There's no place like home. There's no place like home. Back to those crazy kids you thought you knew so well. The first stop, on our rockin' hop, Auntie Em, Auntie Em, it's a twister, is Larry Stuffy Beach. Stuffy is now the illustrious president of the NRA and author of their famous motto, If you don't behave, we're gonna take ya into a dark alley and gut ya! This seems to make even the most fanatical members keep their hands to themselves! Brian Elmore now presides in Salt Lake City where it is rumored he has become and avid Morman with five wives. Between heartfelt halleluyahs he simply explains it was to make up for all his lost time in high school. After spending five years in New York City studying at the New York School of Culinary Arts, Jackie Willson, is head chef at the Wagon Wheel Cafe where she and her thirteen children work daily. Bexton and Misty Carlisle, our high school lovebirds, have founded a school for wayward children. They run the school on the same schedule they practiced in high school - three days a week with three hours off for lunch. Monique Munro is now a member of the World Wrestling Federation. She can be found knee deep in jello every Saturday night at the Short Saloon. Monique says she got all her best moves from a high school wrestler she once knew. Ivan Jardee is now the town cop in Ekalaka. This allows him to still cruise the streets every night, but they still make him pay for his gas. Deann Blair is now the bestselling author of the book Everything You Wanted to Know About my Life, But Missed in Study Hall. Michelle Stevens and Mish Speelmon have founded a revolutionary new business. They've combined a nursing home with a preschool. Michelle is the executive director in charge of entertainment, and Mish cleans up after their messes. James Nazi Nies is now on safari in Germany with his Indian, Buddhist wife searching for the legendary six foot rabbits. Fruit's Service Kep-adr ZZ5-65-12 E l fc . MT 24 THANK YOU! Crazy Karen Kreltel is challenging Mrs. Mike Tyson to a nine round bout of furious name calling. She owes her experience in this sport to the Carter County FF A Chapter. Damian Hughes and Lance Loehdinq own and operate their own night- club where you can catch their nightly dance routine, hip thrusts and all, to their newest album The Squeak and Scratch Rap.” Due to his keen sense of smell, Damian hires out on weekends as a wine expert. He boasts he can tell the difference between a red and a rosa from fifty yards away. After leaving high school Robby Johnstone had a deeply religious experience that changed his life forever. He now co-hosts the ever popular television show, Let's Talk About It With Tammy Faye and Robby.” Due to her interest in photography, Melainie Talkinqton went on to become the top photojournalist in the National Enquirer's History. Though her subjects are many and varied, her favorites are cats and dogs. On the way to her job as a nanny in Boston ten years ago, Jamie Breding was sidetracked in the airport by a very vehement Mooney, and now she runs through airports ail over the world yelling Peace and love, brothers and sisters! and handing flowers to everyone she meets. John Ward, and his ever faithful right hand man, Jess Lehman, now coach the LA Lakers. During the off season, John can usually be found at the Old Stand every Sunday doing his Janitorial duties. Jess, on the other hand, spends his free time back at the family ranch tending to his herd of cows and his 14 kids he and his little woman are raising. Well, that pretty much wraps it up except for yours, truly, Lisa Mauch, who you can find every weekend here on P-A-S-T, PAST FM 89. Bringing you the tunes you groove to, and the gossop that moves you. So good-bye to the class with class, number 89 in your programs, but number one in your hearts. And now returning you to the country's best music, it’s the Graduates doing their newest hit, we're Outa Here! {B£J r X.U «SL THANK YOU! Lende's Accounting’ and Insurance ELalaLa. Mt 77S-6-I89 1. I, Monique Monte Munro. being of questionable mind and minute body, will my ability to survive my many encounters with the gravel roads to Scott Laird. I only wreck my body, not my cars! I, James Nazi Nies, of a demented and totally stoked mind, will to Paul my bad attitude so he can be hated by the head basketball coach next year. To Shaun Neece, I will the three part series to Psyche I, Jamie Diane Bredinq, being of sound mind and body will not being able to talk three-fourths of the time to anyone who thinks they can handle it. I also will not having to go to school all day to those poor souls who are stuck here all day, everyday, I, Caralea Michele Speelmon, will my ability not to pull every string I see to Joanne Bruski, and to Julie, Janell, and Amy my new book- 265 Ways to Read my Lips. I, Jess Ryon Lehman, being of week mind and strong back, will my ability to get out of study hall for no reason to the Junior boys, and to work as hard as I did and still get on the honor roll also to the Junior boys. We, Monique Munro and Michelle Stevens, being of outragious mind and tired body, will our ability to always start trouble but never have Mr. Tuggle blame us for it to the upcoming freshmen. Give him that I didn't do it look and innocent smile. ' THAME YOU! A A Stieg- EEaUEa. MT Z7S-6-H8 CLASS HISTORY As we busted through the doors of CCHS, everyone knew the class of '89 had arrived! We were 23 members strong and our officers were Shelly Walker-President, Kim Fix-Vice President, Robby Johnstone- Secretary, Lisa Mauch-Treasurer, and Damian Hughes-Student Council Representative. The rest of our crew included Larry Beach, Deann Blair, Lore Blanc, Jamie Breding, Bexton Carlisle, Brian Elmore, Ivan Jardee, Karen Kreitel, Jess Lehman, Lance Loehding, Monique Munro, Chris Notaro, Chris Schmidt, Caralea Speelmon, Michelle Stevens, Melainie Talkington, John Ward, and Jackie Willson. By the time our sophomore year had rolled around, we were firmly in control with Robby Johnstone as President, Kim Fix as Vice President, Monique Munro as Secretary, and Lance Loehding as Student Council Representative. We were shuffled back around to 23 members, losing Chris Schmidt, Shelly Walker, and Lori Blanc, and gaining Kenton Peabody, Julie Hamaker, and Misty Sparks. Most of our time was spent raising money and trying to survive the tons of homework the teachers somehow always found for us! Our junior year brought the usual hassles of putting on a prom, but we came through with our always awesome style. Our theme was ’’Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now, and our officers were Melainie Talkingtcn- President, Damian Hughes-Vice President, Robby Johnstone-Secretary Treasurer, and Brian Elmore-Student Council Representative. We were missing Chris Notaro, Julie Hamaker, and Kim Fix, but James Nies had arrived to set us at 21. We, having lost Kenton Peabody, are now 20 excited and as Tuggle always says extremely spoiled seniors! Our fearless leaders for our final year were Bexton Carlisle-President, James Nies-Vice President, Robby Johnstone-Secretary, and Ivan Jardee-Student Council Representative. We have spent four great years at CCHS, but now we are ready to go our seperate ways and conquer the world that awaits us!! THANK YOU Y $ Propane ZPalaPa. MT 2Z5-6221 27 Go ahead, make my day!
