mZHQXZIQJt We, the Seniors of 1987, dedicate our annual to two people who have given us much support and guidance throughout our school years, James and Kathleen Notaro. Jim and Kathleen have two children, Chris and Matthew. Mr. Notaro and his family have been residents of Ekalaka for thirteen years. During this time, Jim has taught science and physical education at Ekalaka Elemen- tary School, coached junior high football and track, and has been grade school principal. For the past seven years he has served as superinten- dent of Carter County High School and Ekalaka Elementary School. He has also coached C.C.H.S. football and track. Jim has been a member of the Ekalaka Lions Club for these thirteen years and was president of the club for one year. He was very instrumental in getting the Close Up program started in Ekalaka. Kathy Notaro has also taught during their residence in Ekalaka. Sne taught music in the grade school, English in both schools, and was choir director for the C.C.H.S. choir. Mrs. Notaro always demanded perfection from us because she knew we could do it if we tried, and saw us through many successes at district and state music festivals. It was her faith and drive that got us to achieve our full potential. We thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Notaro, for all of the support you have given us throughout our thirteen years of school. We wish you luck and happiness wherever you may go.
