Senior Class History Unlike the classes before us, the class of ’85 entered the doors of CCHS with an air of arrogance. We elected Loralee Fix as president, Cammy Kellner as vice president, Melanie Emery as secretary, and Leslie Kerr as student council representative. We were somewhat blessed by having Mr. Don Schillinger and Mrs. Pat Vaskey to lead us through the next four years. The rest of the class consisted of Larry Brence, Gerald Hutchinson, Joyce Harkins, Vicki Jardee, Buddy LaBree, Mike Mittelstedter, Sandra Nies, Amy Pedersen, Darcy Rollins, Nancy Sainsbury, Lisa Stout, Rhoda Strait, Kathy Turbiville, Kenny Wagner, Ann Ward, and Ron Wolff. As we journeyed onward into our sophomore year, we gained Michael Speelmon who left at semester. During our sophomore year we decided to do a play. We wrote and produced Winner Takes All. This year Mr. Schillinger was replaced as class advisor by Mr. Curt Wilson, and Shane Mulkey decided to rejoin the Class of '85. That summer, Lisa Stout moved to Broadus. Our junior year brought many responsibilities. We were insistent upon putting on the best prom of CCHS. With the leadership of Amy Pedersen as president., Vicki Jardee as vice president, Loralee Fix and Larry Brence as secretary, and Cammy Kellner as student council represen- tative, we made this possible. The theme Tonight We Celebrate Our Love, pastel colors, and the band, Benny Puppet, made April 14th, 1984 a night to remember. At semester, we lost Joyce Harkins and Loralee Fix. Also during our junior year, we chose the class colors of baby blue and black. As big seniors and rulers of CCHS, we found that Loralee Fix had once again joined us, but Rhoda Strait had moved on. Wade Anderson and Nicole Andre were also new members. To our dismay, Loralee Fix, Kenny Wagner, and Nicole Andre left at the semester. However, Loralee did come back to graduate with us. Our class was very proud to be graduating from CCHS in the centennial year of Ekalaka. Shane Mulkey was our president, Ron Wolff was vice president, and Gerald Hutchinson was secretary. The graduating class of 19B5 consists of 18 excited young adults ready to meet the oncoming world.

Graduation Day Today we’ll start a new life And we'll say our last goodbyes To all the friends we’ve grown to love With whom we've laughed and cried. Remembering the fun and laughter. The problems and the fears, And watching all our memories grow Throughout our high school years. The memories of the dances And the new friends that we've met, Vacations, teachers, talking And exams we'd rather forget. Ves, high school days are precious but brief, Where all your dreams come true; It is not the end, but the beginning Of a life we’ll start anew. Class Colors: Baby Blue and B1 ack 6
