CLfl Z HI TORY The Class of SO stanted out as most classes do. We found ounselves in the halts of old CCHS as frightened fneshmen with 35 students in oun class. Then, someiohene along the tine, duning that memorable yean, we lost two of oun classmates. Pam Lewis and Tamana Jones wcne sonely missed by the nest of the ctass• When we toene sophomones, we knew a little mone of what was going on in the wontd [on so we thought). We had 35 students that yean, file tost 1 and gained 3 students. We tost Kyle Rehbein and lane Yanzick. Tire old school was neven the same after they left. We did, howeven, gain a few new addi- tions to oun class. Julie Joppa, Rodney[ Walken, and Vamon Hittelstedten came to oun school and joined the class. The junion yean of high school was when we realty thought we had t'ie only class with class. We wene neatly getting up high on the totem pole of success, and thought we had just abi’ut leached the peak, and the nest ivoutd alt be downhill. We wene wneng! We had 34 in oun ctass that yean. T. J. Stout and Vavid and John Adams came to join oun class and Janna Coleman, Julie Joppa, and Vamon tUttetstedten left us. This was the yean that toe wene kept busy with the prom. It tunned out to be a tot of fun. Now we ane seniors becoming pnepaned to go out into the wontd and seek oun fortunes. We have 35 students in our ctass now. Beth Elmone, Bill Nelson, and Gneivin Alfaro, the exchange student, came to join us in oun gneat [we think so anyway) ctass. We have tost 2 of out membens this yean. Karen Hankins and Jenny Jenkins have depan ted, and we miss them veny much. As seniors, we begin to realize that the wontd is not alt noses. If a penson considens that every rose has a thonn attached to its side, they then can realize that for eveny time something good happens, usually something not so pleasant happens to counteract it. This is one of the many lessons wo have teamed thnough the foun good years we've been in high school. Haybc if we keep this in mind, it wilt help us thnoughout the coming yeans. 23
