As I said ny farewells, litter borno bj six wonen. carried s»r cn tires and is T spotted a man b ir. packed down the stre t in a To ray surprise it «os Pat OunJlacb. 'k ‘.as beer '1 i • As I wandered about the townt I spotted a familiar brown Chevy pickup. As it pulled to a stop I was surprised to find Elaine Powell at the wheel. She said sh6 is now running a taxi service between Ekalaka and Baker. I accented her offer to ride along. As we drove along the highway, I asked her the where- abouts of Vickie Talkington. She said that no one really knew for sure, but she had received a letter 4 months ago from her and Vickie was in Arabia, start- ing n male barer for herself. When we got to Baker, I saw an artist on the street comer. Peeling sorry for her, I thought I could help her out. As I approached I realized that it was Pam Welch, who is now a famous artist. She said she was back so that she could remember how the common people lived. Seeing that she needed no assistance, I moved on. While strolling about Baker, I saw a huge auditorium. I stepped in and found Brian Justice on stage. He had taken after his idol, Carlos Santana, and was playing music the way he liked it, loud and mean. As I could no longer take the noise, I caught the Powell taxi back to Ekalaka. Upon entering town, I saw a ihapely figure dressed in black.directing road graders. Lpoking closer, I saw Wanda Lewis. Behind her was a man with a small tint of red hair. I knew Wanda was an avid Women'9 Libber, but I didn't think she would go that far. As we drove down town, I saw the Larson Eauioment building, I went in and saw Kenny Larson standing behind the counter. After shooting the bull for a- while, he told me that he had married Sally Speelmon. They had received the Speelmon ranch a9 a wedding present and that Sally was home tending their 9 children and 200 pigs. I strolled by the White House and noticed a familiar green Ford pickup in the driveway. Doug Bonsell and Lisa were trying to break the world's record for staring at each other. Oh, and by the way, I later learned that Doug now has the largest collection of WRECKED green Ford pickups in the country. 15

It is the year 1999« As I fly in on one of the United States Air Force's newest jets. I can see that the town of Ekalaka has grown. Due to the coal boom it is now the largest city in Montana. After walking for hours, I met my old frAand Terri Brenne, She is still up to her old trick of chasing older men. She now has quite a collection, or so I hear. She told me that John Gentry now-owns what used to be called Munro Plumbing. Of course, it is now called J A L Plumbing. Before parting company, we met with another classmate, Robin Bague. She is still after her dad's hired man. Robin told us that Llane Carroll was now a engineer for the United States Army. He is now constructing the world's largest man-made dam. Shows you what brains can do. After saying good-bye to Terri and Robin I headed back to my Jet. On the way I say a pickup pulling a horse trailer. As it pulled up beside me I saw Nancy Rose. She now has one of the largest ranches in Montana, since the Rose and Keith ranches merged. She told me that Cindy Jenkins owns a large quarter horse ranch in the upper part of the state, and is raising fine race horses. As I departed from Ekalaka, a thought eccured to me. If we have done all this in 20 years, what will we have accomplished in another 20? I pondered this question as I flew into the big blue sky towards Washington D.C, 16 It's frorr; Mr. Wilson (he sent a JOKE;
