TO THE GRADUATES, AND STUDENTS OF 1969: May the future hold for you--your greatest desites. In order, however, to reach these goals you will have to take an active part in the reformation that is needed to up-date the educational systems of this county, of this nation. Educationally speaking, we have come a long way, but we are far short of the goals that are anticipated. As you go into the world, you must recognize that changes, where needed, must be made and will be made inspite of you or me. We can no longer sit back and say Let John do it. We must become an integral part of our community and of our society and work for the development of all areas to the fullest extent. As you enter this new adult world, remember that progress is not meant to be a derogatory term, but a term of future promise—for the good of the community and all of society in general.
