Standing: Marjee Bush, Bart Burdick, Jenny V.irak, Terry Stieg, Peggy Emerson, Arnina Yates, Rusty Jardee, and Carol Bush. Sitting: Jay Mader, Tom Kittelmann, Lon Pulse, Ed Lamb, and Colleen Curry. STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council represents the various classes and organizations of the student body, and acts in their behalf and for their betterment. This year the Council sponsored a Halloween party and a Sweetheart Ball, originated a student flag raising ceremony, and started a study of the constitutions of the various or- ganizations to determine whether or not they met the qualifi- cations of the standard constitution. FLAG RAISING CEREMONY A flag raising ceremony was originated this year in which the student body assembled outside each Monday morning to show their respect for the flags of our nation and our state as they were raised. During the week, a class or organ- ization was appointed to raise the flag in the mornings and to lower it in the evenings. Lynn and Frankie raising the flags.
