Norma Dean Anderson, Ted Major, and Marcia Wasnuk Stie? were no longer with us, but Loretta Anderson, Kay Gundlach, and Mary Lovec had joined our class. At our first class meeting we elected Earl Collins, President; Roger Peabody, Vice-President; Sharon Tooke, Secretary-Treasurer; and Toni Culver, Homecoming Queen candidate. During the weeks preceding Homecoming, we engaged ourselves in the usual activities for raisin? money. In April we went to Miles City to Career Day. We listened to teachers from different colleges representing different professions and were free to ask questions. . April 2L marked the Junior-Senior Prom with the theme '‘Moonlight and Roses . Leroy Jardee was crowned Prom King and Candy Curry was crowned Prom Queen. On May 5 we presented our senior class play Our Town to a large and enthusiastic audience; it was a complete success. On May 10, some of the senior mothers entertained the class at a banquet, and the following Thursday, Mr. Rowley gave a banquet for the seniors and members of the high school and grade school faculty. Everyone enjoyed both banquets immensely. We are now ready to leave the halls of Carter County High School and go our separate ways. Although we are glad to go, we can't help but feel a note of sadness at leaving our many friends. 18
