Norma Dean Anderson, Ted Major, and Marcia Wasnuk Stie? were no longer with us, but Loretta Anderson, Kay Gundlach, and Mary Lovec had joined our class. At our first class meeting we elected Earl Collins, President; Roger Peabody, Vice-President; Sharon Tooke, Secretary-Treasurer; and Toni Culver, Homecoming Queen candidate. During the weeks preceding Homecoming, we engaged ourselves in the usual activities for raisin? money. In April we went to Miles City to Career Day. We listened to teachers from different colleges representing different professions and were free to ask questions. . April 2L marked the Junior-Senior Prom with the theme '‘Moonlight and Roses . Leroy Jardee was crowned Prom King and Candy Curry was crowned Prom Queen. On May 5 we presented our senior class play Our Town to a large and enthusiastic audience; it was a complete success. On May 10, some of the senior mothers entertained the class at a banquet, and the following Thursday, Mr. Rowley gave a banquet for the seniors and members of the high school and grade school faculty. Everyone enjoyed both banquets immensely. We are now ready to leave the halls of Carter County High School and go our separate ways. Although we are glad to go, we can't help but feel a note of sadness at leaving our many friends. 18 Class officers: Ken, Kathie, and Mike CLASS HISTORY On August 28, 1964, 34 excited juniors registered. Upper class- men at last! At our first class meeting, we found that Mr. Markuson was to be our sponsor for the year. We elected the following officers: Ken Solomon, President; Mike Howell, Vice-President; and Kathie Hendricks, Secretary-Treasurer. Linda Cline was chosen Homecojnin Queen Candidate. We ordered our class rings and impatiently awaited their arrival in November. We presented our Junior Class Play, a three act comedy, Sunshine Lane , on December 3, 1964. During the year, two new classmates joined us: Teresa Welling and Gary Harkins. Later, we were sorry to lose Lennet Coons, Hus Hall, and Gary Harkins. April 24th was the date for our Junior-Senior Prom. The theme was Moonlight and Roses, and music was furnished by the Lacers. Bob Jesperson and Mike Howell will represent our school at Boys’ State, and Sheri i vnn Stenseth is to go to Girls State. Doris Blair is to be her alternate. We are sorry to see all the fun of our Junior year come to a close, but we are looking forward to our Senior year. At our first class meeting of the year, we were pleased to find that Mr. Wilson would be our sponsor. We elected Lon Pulse as President, Tom Jardee as Vice-President, and lunette Yates as Secretary-Treasurer. We were very happy and proud to see our candidate, Cindy Hedges, crowned Homecoming Queen of 1964. As freshmen, we elected class officers as follows: John Schwede, President; Bob Curry, Vice-President; and Marjee Bush, Secretary- Treasurer. Laura Solomon was chosen Homecoming Queen candidate. After whitewashing the ,,C , we felt adequately initiated into the student body of CCHS. During the year, we welcomed John Welling, Barbara Hutton, and Jed Hendricks into our class.
