CLASS HISTORY % When we entered our Senior and final year of school in the fall of 1963 we found that Carol Schweigert, Mona Williams, John Bergstrom, Marcie Jardee, and Bob Kittelmann were no longer with us. At our first class meeting we chose Jim Johnstone president, Joe 'Whitney vice president , Lorine Renshaw secretary-treasure, Kenny Blutt student council repre- sentative, and Mr. Rielly was our class sponsor. Homecoming came with its usual excitement. .This being our last year, we worked harder than ever to have Barbie Hofeldt, our candidate, crowned aueen, but we were not successful. On April 22 we went to Miles City to Career Day. We listened to teachers from different colleges representing different professions and were free to ask questions. The following day we presented our senior play Beef Stew , to the grade school and in the evening we present- ed it again to a large and enthusiastic audience. Next we sponsored a steak fry at the Ekalaka Park; HKd George it was very successful and everyone had a good time. May 16 was the Junior-Senior Prom with the theme of Story Book Ball . That night Linda Johnson was named Prom Queen and Don Johnstone was Prom King. May 19 was the Senior banquet given to us by Mr. Rowley. Both the grade school and high school faculty were present. Everyone present enjoyed the well prepared supper. We are now ready to leave the halls of the Carter County High School and go our separate ways. Along with our gladness we can’t help bii: feel a note of sad- ness at leaving our many friends. 15
