Administration The High School Board of Education met the first Tuesday of each month in the office of the County Superintendent of Schools. That the school board, headed by Chairman Vernon Silvis and aided by Vice-chairman Walter Anderson, Secretary Mrs. Lela Anderson, Prank Laird, Vivian Castleberry, Nora Schallenberger, and George Powell, has succeeded in its efforts to achieve progress is evident in the many im- provements made throughout the years.
