Due to their untiring efforts we have an efficient, modern school of which we can be proud. The Chairman of the Board is Vernon Silvis; Walter Anderson is Vice-Chairman and the sec- retary is Mildred Lavell. The board members are Prank Laird, DeLoss Hall, Mrs. Nora Schall- enoerger. Principal William C. Rowley and Mrs. Lee Castleberry. The board selects the teach- ers for the high school and buys the books and equipment which we use. In the past year they have had the gym relined with new white wall board and the ceiling recovered with sound reducing material. In the shower rooms new shower stalls and equipment replace the old, inadequate fac- ilities and new paint gleams on walls, ceilings and floors.
