X YA' H ----- ' . . ..........l-Z-5-4 ff X .......... . . 4 A x T ..........,... 3-4 fav W f 1 y g, V, ............. .1 H H - h Class Hlstory The Class of 55 began our hrstory 1n our freshman year Q51 521 We started the year w1th 19 members We elected our off1cers w1th Don Armstrong as pres1dent R1chard Albrecht as v1ce presxdent Shlrley Bal1ko as treasurer and Leroy Drumm as secretary W1th Mrs O'Mara as our class adv1sor L1ke all lnnocent freshmen we were 1n1t1ated 1nto h1gh school We thought we were really l1v1ng unt1l we had to go through that ordeal Durlng the year the sen1ors put on a carnlval and every class had to pay them 3 for every concesslon We had a target shoot refreshments and bean guessmg Durlng the year we sold 1ce cream at noon hours and at ball games At the end of the year we lost two members of our class Bruce W1ll and Marlon M1lls leavmg a total of 17 1n the class We began our sophomore year w1th Lorame Seltz as pres1dent Ken Wallace as v1ce presldent Marxan Dr1ver as secretary and Betty Pallng as treasurer and Mrs O'Mara as class advlsor It was th1s year that we got our revenge by 1n1t1at1ng the freshmen class 1nto hlgh school wh1ch we d1dn't m1nd at all We had our f1rst annual barn dance and a few bake sales to make money We galned two new members to our class Ken Hard1son and Carl Franzel But we lost Barbara Wrlght leavlng a total of 18 At the end of the year we were honored to serve at the Junlor Sen1or banquet The boys of our class had the prmvllege of usher1ng at the graduatron exerclses At the begmnlng of our Junlor year we had a total of 18 members We lost Betty bers Our offlcers were Leroy Drumm as pres1dent Mar1an Dr1ver as v1ce pres1dent Beverly Tr1gger as treasurer and Annetta Benson as secretary W1th Mrs O'Mara as our class adv1sor The trad1t1onal jun1or play was t1tled A Feudln over Yonder a h1ll b1lly comedy 1n three acts The settlng was 1n the Kentucky Hllls where there was a feud golng on between two fam1l1es It was our prlvmlege to put on a prom and banquet for the Sen1ors wh1ch went over very well We escorted the sen1ors at graduatlon an honor we enloyed very much W1th the begmnmg of our sen1or year we had a total of 18 members due to the loss of Leroy Drumm and Don Armstrong We kept that number through graduat1on Our off1cers for our sen1or year were Ed Collver as presldent Ken Hardlson as v1ce presxdent Ed Krogol as secretary and Marian Dr1ver as treasurer and of course Mrs O'Mara as class advlsor Our sen1or play was t1tled Board1ng House Reach a comedy 1n three acts 1n whlch the father and mother of the fam1ly go on a buslness tr1p and Whlle they are gone the1r son tu ns the place 1nto a board1ng house full of all k1nds of characters We are plannlng on go1ng to Washlngton D C on our senlor tr1p on May 8 1955 We expect to have a wonderful t1me We are lookmg forward to a sklp day and of course the prom and banquet put on by the Jumors and flnally and most 1mportant of all graduatlon Ed Collver 12 I ll H ' ' , - . . . .
