Behind us on the drill Held, in the class rooms, and on the athletic Held, We shall leave many evidences of our stay here. lt is not for us to say whether these evidences are favorable, but the class of 334 has done its best to make Carson Long a better school, and to profit by the many lessons it has taught us. History for us began in the school year 1923-24 when Edla Hood entered this school. The succeeding year he was joined by Prior and J. Butler, and the year after that by Walter. After a lapse of three years, in the fall of 1928 Huish and Rogers entered, to swell the slowly growing list. Vogelson, Budlong, Rich, and Barker were the next to establish member- ship, the following fall. ln 1930 the class was able to add Hve more students to its now steadily increasing roll. These were W. Butler, Fromm, Fulton, Hay and Whittlesey. 1931 ushered in the greatest influx of members the class had known up to this time. Among these were Balsdon, Berkman, Doty, Grubb, Santoro, Venn, and later in the year, Moog. Last year Hen- derson, Hurford, Lutz, Grove, Zeininger, Moshowsky, and Tench joined us, and finally the list is completed with Bock, Bostwick, Fetterolf and Wiggins, who entered this fall. And so pass out of Carson Long thirty-three students. With them they will carry its teachings, its ideals, their hopes and their ambitions. Behind them they leave many traces of their stay. We hope they are worthy of one of Carson Long's great- est graduating classes. HENRY S. This year's team had courage and best of all sportsmanship. We received congratulations from a num- ber of schools telling us they were well pleased because our boys were real sports. This is one of the reasons why Carson Long is popular. One of the first lessons taught on the athletic lield is be a good sport and learn to take it. One weakness this year was lack of experience.
