JAMMIN ' J.V.S Carson ' s J. V. Basketball Team had a terrific season. The Colts lost only two league games this year; the games against Fremont (56-77) and Manual Arts (43-44). The J.V. ' s preseason games this year were very promising, with the Colts carrying only one loss to Cren- shaw. When the Colts went to the J.V. Christmas Tournament, they were in a weak position, but came out strong. They lost only one game out of three; again against Crenshaw. Over-all, the Colts had an excel- lent year. BEE BASKETBALL TAKES LEAGUE! Carson ' s Bee Basketball team fin- ished the season by winning the 1983 Marine League Championship. The team was undefeated with a 10- record. Thanks go to Coach Park for outstanding guidance. Plays by Hyon House who lead the team in most points and rebounds, added to the Bee ' s success.
