WE SHALL RETURN Although the Colts ended the sea- son as City runners-up, their season was a sparkling, undefeated success. Playoffs started with the Colt - El Ca- mino Real game. The Colts scored 42 points, while allowing El Camino Real only 19. The next play-off game saw the Carson team defeat Fremont 13-0. Carson was on its way to the final City Champ Clash; we would face Banning for the title. In a heart-stopping last moment of the Carson-Banning game a field goal attempt (by Reinaldo Caceres) hits the goal post and bounced away from victory. One point decided it. We shall return!
