INDIAN The Indian-Education Program is an organization federally founded for students of American heritage. In this program, they help the Ameri- can Indian students grow in self es- teem, academic achievements, and in awareness and pride in their na- tive American heritage. KOREAN CLUB -IIB m The Korean Club, under the su- pervision of Mr. Park, was formed for the benefit of students of Korean extraction. A majority of the mem- bers are bilingual, speaking both Ko- rean and English. One of the major events that the club took part in was the Mardi Gras. They also participate in a Korean basketball tournament and have picnics with other schools. Under the super- vision of Mr. Kumada, The Chemis- try Club has been involved in past Mardi Gras and several field trips to TRW, among other things. Presently, the club consists of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade members and continues to grow. CHESS CLUB qggg s The Chess Club meets daily at lunch. They play tournaments.
