Art Club The newly formed Art Club meets every Wednesday at lunch. They keep the administration offices, li- brary, and various areas around the school, decorated with current works of Art by students. Dance Group The spirit of music lives in the hearts of the Dance Club members. Guided by Mrs. Lishness, members create and practice various dance routines. Sharing their knowledge amongst themselves, Dance mem- bers develop their skills. It was formed in the fall semester. Academic uecatnaion: wins! ACADEMIC: having to do with schools. DECATHLON: a contest having ten parts. WINNERS: Carson Colt decathlon members. 1983-84 Academic Decathlon competition held at Hamilton High School was a major victory for Car- son ' s team. Mr. Finney, the team ' s coach, expressed pride with his group ' s results. Although the math and science sections were particu- larly difficult, the Colt team managed to shut out Banning, San Pedro, and Gardena. Keep studying Colts! (front) I. Wheeller, A. Chu, T. Kim, N.
