What a way to start the day. Natrina Brush and Tanya Hobson face another day ol packing books into too-small spaces. T.A.G. comes to Carson. Stu- dents do seem to get to classes on time more often, but that doesn ' t ease the crunch everywhere. Lunch lines are long, the hallways are busy, lockers seem to always jam at the wrong moment. Colt pride shines through it all; we car- ry on. We find the joy of a job well done and learn to laugh along the way. TAKING TIME FOR A LOOK AT THE VIEW FROM HERE Student life means meeting deadlines, friendship, and new experiences. It is all worth the effort; your future often de- pends on the energy you put into today. It isn ' t always EASY to give ev- ery day your best effort. There are days when another ten min- utes of sleep feels like the most important thing in the world. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THA T THE ALARM IS GOING OFF AL- READY?? Hitting the snooze button one last time, you pull the covers up over your head. Then it hits you: THE BUS WILL BEAT THE COR- NER IN SIX MINUTES. Oh, those early morning blues! There are a few worried faces as the Period 7 bell rings, but most Colts somehow manage to get to campus on time. For those who don ' t, there are always those famous words, but I missed the bus. w
