She was a life-long resident of Carson, a member of the Carson Presb- yteriam Church and the O.E.S. chapter 92. In her life time, and the no years that she was a member of the Carson School Faculty she was a friend to all. Her guiding hand helped to mold the character and ideals of hundreds of young people, who today are leaders and responsible citizens in this com unity and through out the United States. Her friendly smile and steady hand became a pillar of strength for those who suffered in sorrow and trouble. Her good deeds will be remembered by all, because they were offered from the utter most depths of her heart. We do truly miss Miss Steele in our school, church and com- munity life in Carson.
