The Seniors of '72 feel that we have accomplished a great deal at CHS. We have achieved high academic standards, and have set many new athletic records. Now, we challenge you, the underclassmen, to try to surpass the high goals we have maintained. As our high school days come to an end, we discover that we have many happy memories that will be with us during the rest of our lives. We leave you with the hope that your days at CHS will be as memorable as' ours. Sincerely, The Class of '72 ff Organization! Stncient Government Since the Student Council is com- posed of duly elected representatives of the student body, it is their concern as a whole to work for the betterment of both school and student. This year has been particularly outstanding for student government in this area. The council has provided for the opening of the library at night, trophies for the winning homecoming floats, staged a mini-float parade during courtvvarming, and sponsored a dance. The members feel that they have added to the signif- icance of this important school year. dill, Q. x 1 , Stephen Bowles- Jack Uhrig- Student Body President Student Body Manager 1 T Aff ,g I i f 1 I I p 5 Q f ,t f 1 t 1 1 , Q 1 , 1 1 r lv W I P I h 1 Q l X E Y , c g v 1 5 - i l ' T T A ' ? t t , at 4 if i ,Y in 1. , ,', 1 ,, 2 Y ' ,' ll n 155 l 1 ' 5 V 4 LEFT TO RIGHT-First Row: Sheryl Plummer, Shelly Martin, Tim Leakey, Mr. Thayer, Jack Uhrig, Nancy Lybarger, Stephen Bowles. The mum sales are as good a start as any. We were Running for a Thousand and really surprise ourselves by selling well over that amount. In the athletics department our men really proved themselves. The tre- mendous spirit we displayed throughout the year has helped us achieve our many goals, including a very successful Prom. We look forward to next year with great enthusi- asm as we shed the title of underclassmen and finally reach the top as sophisticated Seniors. This wou1dn't be complete without thanking our sponsors Mrs. Haggard, Mrs. Redford, and Mr. Snyder for helping us with the respon- sibilities Juniors carry throughout the year. , war' ,. i N . Mike Thayer 139 140 From The Editor Yes, it's all over for another year. But this has been more than another year , Since this has been the year of the Centennial Class, everyone has put forth a little more effort to make all areas of Carrollton High School more prosperous. The Troic staff was charged with the responsibility of capturing all these events and recording them. I believe that they have done an outstanding job and I would like to express my sincere appreciation of their work and the assistance provided by Mr. Leech and Mr. Brock and anyone who helped to make this yearbook a successful one.
