The class colors are red and silver and the tea rose is their flower. The inspiring slogan is Not to the top, but climbing . The class of '52 is proud of its whole-hearted participations in school and extra. curricular activities such as the high school band. choir, dra- matics. athletics. and various other organizations. The class is excep- tionally proud of Dick Chew , Long, the famous touchdown sprinter , who was named on the all-league football team. The sophomore all-high party, Kaliko Ball, March ll, was enjoyed by all who attended. Class sponsors are Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Bingham.
