From 1926-29, Principal Scott was instructor in Social Studies and Administrative Assistant to the Principal, Central Junior School, Lima, Ohio, Summer of 1929 and year of 1929-30, he served as Principal ofthe Senior School, Long Beach, New York, beginning with the Spring Session of 1930 and ending with the Spring Session of 1934, he served as Instructor in History at Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York, beginning with the Fall Semester, 1931, and ending with the Spring Term of 1934, Principal Scott was Special Lecturer in the Political Science Department of Hunter Col- lege, New York, New York, also during the period of 1930-33, he served as special assistant in the Bureau of Cur- riculum Research, Columbia University, Summer of 1931, he was Instructor in History at McBurney School, New York New York, 1934-36, Principal Scott was Dean and Instructor, Hamilton Institute, New York, New York, Summer of 1936 and year of 1936-37, he was Dean and Acting President and Instructor at Lima College, Lima, Ohio, in the fall of 1937, he was appointed Professor of Political Science at Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tennessee. Prior to com- ing to Carrollton, Principal Scott had been engaged in the practice of law and public accountancy, he also had consid- erable experience in the army in the establishing and the operation of an educational unit. Principal Scott was co-auth- or with Gene ral Walter S. Faulkner, the work being known as A History and Interpretation oi the Constitution oi the United States. Principal Scott is also a member ofthe fourth estate having been Editor ofa weekly newspaper sever- al years ago. Principal Scott is a member of the N. E.A., S. D. K., National Association of Secondary Principals CN.E.A.1, Department of Elementary Principals lN.E.A.1, Indiana Association oi' Secondary School Principals, Indi- ana Association oi Elementary School Principals, and Fellow in the National Geographical Society.
