Holiday songs such as Hymn to Joy , Strangers in the Streets and Hymn From an Irish Cabin were presented. During the performance the Glee Club gained the experi- ence necessary for their per- formance in the senior produc- tion of ShoWboat. SUPER TORCHRUNNERSl The 1971 Senior Torchrunners put forth tremendous superhu- man effort and un- matched spirit, as they paced the way to victory after victory during the football season. Al- though they seldom reached a game before halftime, the torchrun- ners unfailingly re- ceived a standing ova- tion from all Patriot fans. The 225 mile run to Ravenna broke all other torchrunner rec- ords for distance, and probably broke the rec- ord for curious police- men per mile. Shirts stenciled by the student government provided identification, and the senior girls provided nourishment to sustain the runners on their journey.
