Even before the first bell rang last fall, W W A.S.B. officers attended a state leadership 1- V 437 conference at Camp Cispus in Randall. Under the direction of Alan Gamache, Brian Roberts, Mary Ann Comiskey, and Vicki Schwaegler, the A.S.B. kicked ol? the social calendar with the hrst dance of the season after the Carroll-Cle Elum football game. A leadership conference at Cowiche involved representatives from almost all the clubs and classes. Then followed in rapid order the Italian Dinner at St. Paul's, Spirit Week, the Homecoming Dance at the Holiday Inn, and the first annual Halloween Dance. To celebrate the holiday season, Santa Claus bestowed treasured trinkets upon the faculty during the Christmas assembly, following which was a Day of Spiritual Recollection , organized by the A.S.B. and Religion President AlanLGamache, Vice-President Brian Roberts, Secretary Mary Ann Comiskey, Department, Treasurer Wk' Schwaegm' A dance after the Naches basketball game introduced the New Year. Early in March the students witnessed teacher power outside the classroom at the D.J.-Faculty basketball game at St. Paul's. The year's activities were rounded off with A.S.B. and cheerleader elections the last week in April. The old guard has moved on, but Carroll looks ahead to another productive year, Gamache, Joe Hamelin, Carl Vargas. au.. I.. waif' Public Relations for the 1976-77 school year were held by Mary Struthers and Janet Vorenkamp with KQOT DJ Gary Hamlin. 77
