Bringing the Class of '77 together one last time, the Commencement Exercises on June 3 heralded the close of a special year. Eighty-nine seniors marched down the aisle to the traditional Pomp and Circumstance. Teresa Rullman's survey of the class history elicited many a chuckle and guffawg Janet Vorenkamp then urged the graduates always to remember that each of them has a unique contribution to make to nourish the future. Sr. Monica Schmidt delivered the Graduation Address, using as her theme a compendium of song titles, she inspired the graduates to carry a joyful sound in their hearts and into the world. Recently-installed Bishop William Skylstad next presented diplomas, after which Fr. Patnode presented scholarship awards. So, with diplomas in hand, the Class of '77 made their way out of Holy Family Church. They looked promisingly toward the future, but will always remember this part of their past. Sr. Monica Schmidt, Fr.
