flledwfillm We, the students and faculty of Carroll High School, gratefully dedicate our 1976 Bicentennial edition of the Eaglet to the growth and heritage of our great city, Ozark. We have seen it prosper and grow into one ofthe finest towns in Alabama. It is truly a beautiful place to live. Our forefathers built a rich heritage for us. We benefit from their legacy of love, industry, and high courage. We show our gratefulness to those forefathers by honoring this heritage and by passing it on, strengthened and reinforced, to those who shall come after us. This Bicentennial year we salute Ozark and its heritage with much pride and great respect. To the rolling hills and the forests deep they come so long ago, 1 And made a place where they'd work and sleep and their children could live and grow. Two hundred years have come and gone, and the village has been blessed. And the good its done will go on and on, but there's still no time for rest. For the generations that are to come will look back on what is dear And remember the legacy left to them by the ones who now live here. Marian B.
