The band hos attained ratings of Excellent and Superior in Contests and Festivals around the state of Alabama, in addition to continuously playing in parades such as the Governor’s Inauguration in Montgomery, Orange Bowl Parade in Miami, Florida, The National Peanut Festival Parade, and others. The band this year presented a series of half- time shows dedicated to American Hertiage and Patriotism which were not only enjoyable but educational. As a result of this theme, the band was invited to give a half-time show at Troy State College, which was highly successful and well received. The band is under the direction of John H.
