EAGLET 1960 CARROL HIGH SCHOOL OZARK, ALABAMA Editor - Glenda Hughes Business Manager - Elaine Newsome Sponsor - Mrs. Floride Holman [ i ] Foreword A time like this demands --------- Strong minds, great hearts, true faith, And ready hands.” ---John Gilbert Holland School provides the figurative pastures for the growth of the body, maturing of the mind, and, sometimes the adjust- ments of the heart. Through all the activity, as year succeeds year, it is with our hands that we dispose of daily routine, perform demands of hard work, accept honors, extend our offers of friendship, and finally reach out for the diplomas that are the well-earned rewards of four years of high school — [ 2 ] Administration Dedication Because of his sincere interest in each student and because of his fun- loving personality, we proudly dedicate the 1960 edition of the FAGLET to a truly good sport, our beloved coach and assistant principal, Mr. Roy Davis. [ 4 ] City Superintendent Although this is Mr. Alexander’s first year as Principal of Carroll High and Superintendent of the Ozark City School System, he has already won recognition in the school system and in the community.
