I extend my Con- gratulations to you for this fine achievement. It has required much effort by you and your parents, but I am sure you will now feel that it is worth the efforts involved. You have had many fine experiences to be extremely valuable as you approach new problems in life. I am sure you will agree that the wise solution to problems we face is determined to a great extent by the way in which we have met and solved the problems of the past. Your life beyond high school whether you go to college or into your chosen vocation will be filled with many problems, responsibilities and opportunities. In the light of your training and experience I am sure you will face them with courage and determination. The occasions I have had to associate with you have been both pleasant and profitable for me. My best wishes go with you as you bid farewell to Dale County High School. PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Of the Dale County High School, this has been a year unique in the history of this school. In every sense it has been a successful one. Much has been accomplished. We have had an unusually good spirit. Our football team came through with more than the normal number of victories. The evaluation committee gave us a report above average. We have had our greatest clean-up and paint-up campaign in several years. Students and teachers have entered into this work with zeal and enthusiasm. The result is that a better school spirit exists today because everyone has had a part in this work. This, then, is my short message to you. Enter into your life work with zeal. Put your all into it. In this way you will obtain the happiness you want. This means you can accomplish the things that make life worthwhile. Remember, too, the other in- gredient of a successful life, cooperation with your fellowmen. Above all, cooperate with Him who gave His all for you. Follow these simple directions, and yours will be a life of satisfaction and happiness. MR. J. O.
