Some of the main purposes of the Future Homemakers of America club are: fly to promote a growing appreciation of the joys and satisfactions of homemaking, q2j to encourage democra- cy in home 'and community life, Q31 to work for good home and family life for all, and my to further interest in home economics. The flower of our club is'a red rose, the motto is Towards New Horizons, and the colors are red and white. At our banquet this year we presented the awards. Glee Alison, the state president, was our guest. When we had a farewell party, we chose a queen. Erin ludice was our queen, Barbara Wright, senior attendant, Mary Swartz, jun- ior attendantg Valerie Krieger, sophomore attendant, and Jan Etta West, freshman attendant.
