These ships traveled their own separate ways through the first eight realms. Upon entering the ninth realm, they merged and be- came known as the Carroll Class of '62, This group continued to travel through four more years of higher learning. Now, they have reached the point known as graduation. Here they will assemble as a group for possibly the last time. In the past twelve years, many members have been lost while others have been gained. This group now consists of sixty hardy adventurers. They are Alvin Arledge, Bonnie Behrens, Jerry Bowers, Edward Burden, Richard Coontz, Marlena Holter, Carolyn Kelley, Karol Randles, Barbara Smith, Bill Snyder, and Gary Storts. The remaining fourteen from the Carroll Galaxy are David Beaty, Dale Benson, Martha Benson, Douglas Cormany, Paul Cuccio, Harley Crow, Max Donaldson, Diane Ety, Ralph Ety, Don Fisher, Sue Hart, John Newman, Kenny Ridenour, and Mike Solt. They now embark upon their own separate journeys into the Realm of the Future. The Basketball Bulldogs of 1961-62, a young team with much drive and little experience, opened the season with a win over Scioto Township. The Bulldogs played nine games before defeating Rushville for a second win of the season. With a record of two wins and eleven losses the Bulldogs really began playing basketball. Winning four of their last six games - including an overtime conquest of Bremen in the tournament at Granville - the Bulldogs ended the season with a six and thirteen record.
