Hard Work, Long Hours and Endurance. Cross country is a very de- manding sport. 'Team members put in long hours of practice be- fore meets. Even the weather was no hindrance. During bad Weather boys practiced by run- ning around the halls of school. Boys developed strong loyalty to their team, giving every ounce of effort to push forward a vic- tory. Paul Sibray, a senior member, brought honors to the team by a good performance in the regional which qualified him for the sectional at Fort Wayne . Coach Fra1ey's team began practice before the school year ended for preparation to meet their opponents. En- thusiasm for the sport was shown by the many shouts heard on the field.
