Talks were given by local residents who had toured France and other European countries. Mr . Eldon Pressler gave an interesting program on European countries and showed films of France and gave a background of French life. The picture at the right is showing first year members trying their hand at being Can-Can Girls at one of the meet- ings . The club plans to use some of their profit to purchase a Cassell's French- English Dictionary, a new subscription to Paris Match , and several French rec- ords . 5l

Latin Club Gains State Recognition. Latin Club and its sponsors gained state recognition by serving as scholarship bank- ers for the State and by having Toni Short serve as State Recording Secretary. The Roman Rock , State Convention, and Roman Banquet highlighted the year's social events.
