Sponsors, Mr. Torn Odden, Mr. Lowell Draffeng President, Joe Forgeyg Vice President, Gary Duffy Secretary, Paul Sibray5 Treasurer, John Myer, Student Council, Dan Leshg Sergeant at Arms, Roger Myer, Chaplain, Mike Mc- Dowell The Hi-Y was the co- sponsor of the Sweetheart Dance held on Valentines Day and the annual semi-formal dance given last fall. At Christmas time, as in the past, they gave Christmas baskets to the needy people in the community. The Father and Son Banquet was the scene of inducting the new 1965-66 Hi-Y members. Reverend Frank Guyatt showed films of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Mr. Draffen is speaking at the Father and Son Banquet while new initiates listen with interest. 49

Talks were given by local residents who had toured France and other European countries. Mr . Eldon Pressler gave an interesting program on European countries and showed films of France and gave a background of French life. The picture at the right is showing first year members trying their hand at being Can-Can Girls at one of the meet- ings . The club plans to use some of their profit to purchase a Cassell's French- English Dictionary, a new subscription to Paris Match , and several French rec- ords . 5l
