Concert Band Adds to School Life The concert band added many new things to the music department. This was the first year the music depart- ment could boast pom pom girls. These girls added a lot to the performances given by the band. Also added to the department were a huge drum and a band banner. The band gave many skits. At one bas- ketball game the band arranged for Bat- man and Robin to appear. They were just in time to foul the plans of the Penguin and his gang. The Hobo Prom was an activity sponsored by the band. The proper attire for the eve- ning included old shoes, clothes, and hats. The King and Queen, Gary Michael and Jane Wilson, were chosen for their original costumes.
